Rinoplastica o rinofiller? Le differenze

Il naso, data la sua posizione centrale all’interno dell’ovale, è uno dei maggiori responsabili dell’armonia del volto: un naso troppo grande, oppure a sella, con una gobba importante o una punta imperfetta può alterare sensibilmente l’equilibrio dei lineamenti e provocare disagio e insicurezza.
Se la rinoplastica è l’intervento d’elezione per correggere i difetti del naso, il rinofiller può essere in molti casi una valida alternativa: in particolare, quando le asimmetrie non sono eccessivamente marcate e il profilo del naso necessita solo di piccoli ritocchi, il rinofiller può essere addirittura una scelta preferibile alla rinoplastica, perché più semplice da eseguire, meno invasivo e anche molto meno costoso.

Rinoplastica: perché e quando si effettua
La rinoplastica è, come dicevamo, l’intervento di chirurgia estetica di ridefinizione dei contorni del naso: la rinoplastica permette di modificare completamente la forma del naso, a seconda delle esigenze del paziente, restituendo un profilo lineare e un aspetto armonioso a tutto il viso.
La rinoplastica è indicata per correggere sia i difetti della parte ossea del naso, come il dorso a gobba, sia la parte di cartilagine, quindi la punta, che può essere troppo stretta, larga o lunga, sia le narici troppo dilatate.
Rinoplastica e rinosettoplastica
La rinoplastica è anche l’intervento di elezione in caso di problemi respiratori diagnosticati da un otorino e legati alla forma del setto nasale, sia congenita sia dovuta a traumi e rotture: in questo caso si parla di rinosettoplastica, un intervento che vede la collaborazione dell’otorinolaringoiatra e del chirurgo estetico.
Le tecniche utilizzate per la rinoplastica
A seconda delle esigenze del paziente, l’intervento di rinoplastica sarà realizzato con una tecnica open o closed: la prima è indicata per il rimodellamento della punta e delle parti cartilaginee del naso, mentre la seconda è utilizzata per correggere gli inestetismi del dorso, ovvero della parte ossea, come la gobba.
A prescindere dalla tecnica scelta, è bene ricordare che la rinoplastica è un vero e proprio intervento di chirurgia estetica che si effettua in anestesia generale o locale con sedazione e, come tutti gli interventi, prevede una procedura preoperatoria e un post-operatorio della durata variabile in cui il paziente dovrà indossare dei tamponi e una mascherina.

Rinofiller: in cosa consiste e quando è indicato
I filler a base di acido ialuronico stanno riscuotendo grande successo negli ultimi anni, trovando applicazione nella correzione di diversi inestetismi del viso e del corpo: ne abbiamo parlato in questo articolo dedicato proprio al mondo filler.
Il rinofiller rientra in questo tipo di trattamenti: si tratta di un intervento ambulatoriale che consiste nell’iniezione di piccole quantità di acido ialuronico, una sostanza naturalmente presente nell’epidermide che, grazie alla sua azione riempitiva, riesce a correggere alcuni piccoli inestetismi e imperfezioni del naso.
La procedura si effettua in ambulatorio, è indolore, richiede pochi minuti ed è quasi completamente priva di complicanze, perché l’acido ialuronico è una sostanza naturalmente presente all’interno del corpo, quindi non provoca rigetti o allergie.
È bene ricordare però che, come tutti i filler all’acido ialuronico, anche il rinofiller ha una durata limitata nel tempo: la pienezza del risultato è apprezzabile già dopo un paio di giorni, ma ha una durata variabile compresa tra i 5 e i 10 mesi, un arco di tempo dopo il quale l’intervento va ripetuto per mantenere i risultati ottenuti.

Rinoplastica e rinofiller: quale scegliere?
Ora che abbiamo approfondito le caratteristiche delle due procedure, concentriamoci sulle differenze per capire se effettuare l’uno o l’altro tipo di intervento.
Tipologia di intervento
La prima e più importante differenza tra rinoplastica e rinofiller riguarda la tipologia di trattamento: nel caso della rinoplastica si tratta di un vero e proprio intervento, che richiede delle incisioni e delle suture, seppure invisibili, con un pre e un post-operatorio da rispettare e le eventuali complicanze legate ad un intervento chirurgico.
Il rinofiller invece è un trattamento ambulatoriale che non richiede alcuna preparazione e può essere effettuato in pochi minuti: questo lo rende adatto a quei pazienti che vogliono modificare la forma del loro naso senza però sottoporsi ad un vero intervento chirurgico.
Durata dei risultati
Attenzione però, perché i risultati del rinofiller non sono permanenti: a differenza della rinoplastica, che garantisce un risultato definitivo, l’effetto del rinofiller tende a svanire nel tempo perché l’acido ialuronico viene gradualmente riassorbito dalla pelle, per cui è necessario ripetere il trattamento ogni 5/10 mesi.
Ambito di applicazione
Date le differenze tra i due tipi di trattamento, anche gli ambiti di applicazione sono diversi: in generale, l’intervento di rinoplastica permette di correggere anche gli inestetismi più severi e di modificare in modo completo la forma del naso, mentre il rinofiller, avendo un’azione semplicemente riempitiva, è indicato per trattare lievi difetti riguardanti perlopiù la parte cartilaginea del naso, non la parte ossea.
La scelta tra i due interventi quindi dipenderà anche dalle esigenze del paziente: ad esempio, chi ha un naso con una gobba ossea fortemente pronunciata riuscirà con maggiore difficoltà ad ottenere un miglioramento con il solo rinofiller e dovrà, più plausibilmente, orientarsi verso un intervento di rinoplastica per ottenere il risultato desiderato.
Ovviamente prima di decidere quale tipo di intervento effettuare bisognerà ascoltare il parere del chirurgo estetico che, in sede di visita, consiglierà la tipologia di intervento più indicato a seconda delle caratteristiche fisiche e delle necessità del paziente.
