Lifting Facciale: che cos’è?

H2 Che cos’è il lifting facciale: le cause dell’invecchiamento cutaneo
Il viso è la parte più in vista del nostro corpo e di conseguenza è la zona dove si vedono di più i primi segni dell’invecchiamento, ovvero intorno agli occhi, sulla bocca, sulla cute e sui muscoli facciali.
Il lifting del viso è uno dei trattamenti di chirurgia estetica più richiesti ed effettuati per contrastare i segni dell’invecchiamento.
È una tecnica chirurgica che ha lo scopo di restituire l’armonia naturale e la tensione originaria della cute e dei muscoli del viso e del collo.
L’intervento mira a ripristinare la freschezza e la tonicità dei tessuti, e quindi a contrastare il calo fisiologico della cute e delle strutture adipose, cioè la ptosi.
Il lifting non modifica i connotati del paziente, ma appunto tira le strutture che sono scivolate verso il basso per la gravità e l’invecchiamento cutaneo che perde elasticità.
Oltre al decadimento cellulare altri fattori contribuiscono all’entropia della pelle, quali:
- Un’eccessiva esposizione ai raggi UV del sole;
- L’abuso di alcool;
- Un’alimentazione squilibrata e poco sana;
- Stress nervoso causato dalla vita quotidiana;
- La predisposizione genetica.
I segni dell’invecchiamento sono riconoscibili ed implicano la perdita di collagene, la diminuzione della sua quantità che provoca solchi superficiali profondi cioè le rughe, ed un aumento non armonico dei depositi di grasso nelle zone del mento e del collo.
Inoltre, la pelle ed i muscoli facciali tendono a spostarsi verso il basso, soprattutto le guance che perdono tonicità ed elasticità.
La zona più colpita è il contorno occhi, seguita dal contorno delle bocca, del mento e del sottomento dove si accumula molto adipe.
Quindi l’obiettivo del lifting è quello di:
- Eliminare la pelle in eccesso;
- Riposizionare i muscoli ed i tessuti;
- Contrastare la perdita di sostanza delle guance;
- Risollevare ogni elemento del viso sceso verso il basso.
H3 Per chi è consigliato il lifting del viso
Non ci sono limiti di età per sottoporsi al lifting facciale, può essere effettuato anche sui pazienti dai 70-80 anni in condizioni di salute buone e stabili.
L’età media dei pazienti che si sottopongono al lifting del viso varia dai 40 ai 60 anni, perché la predisposizione genetica e lo stile di vita possono influire sull’invecchiamento del volto.
Il lifting al viso è consigliato a chi si sente a disagio e vorrebbe avere un aspetto più giovane e rilassato, ed è eseguibile se sono presenti alcune caratteristiche specifiche:
- La lassità cutanea del viso;
- Le pieghe cutanee facciali;
- Un eccesso di pelle del volto;
- Il profilo della mandibola non definito;
- Il collo cadente;
- Le sopracciglia cadenti;
- La piega del naso labiale marcato.
Il paziente prima di sottoporsi all’intervento dovrà seguire alcune regole e dimostrare di avere uno stato di salute ottimale con specifici esami del sangue ed elettrocardiogramma, avere delle aspettative realistiche del risultato ottenibile, e la consapevolezza dei rischi e delle complicanze del post-operatorio.
Prima dell’intervento viene effettuato un colloquio preliminare con il chirurgo plastico utile per individuare la presenza di controindicazioni, per valutare le aree da trattare, e quale tecnica di lifting eseguire in base alla qualità ed elasticità della pelle e dei muscoli.
Se il chirurgo dopo la valutazione riterrà opportuno il lifting facciale darà una serie di indicazioni da seguire prima e dopo l’intervento che riguardano l’alimentazione, l’uso dei farmaci ed il fumo.
Che cos’è il lifting facciale: le tipologie e l’intervento
Il lifting del viso può essere eseguito nell’estensione completa del viso e del collo, o in specifiche zone del viso con dei lifting mirati, quali:
- LIFTING DEL SOPRACCIGLIO: Eseguito per la zona sopra gli occhi dove sono le sopracciglia, e serve per contrastare lo scivolamento naturale verso il basso. È associabile alla blefaroplastica per donare freschezza allo sguardo ed a tutta la zona degli occhi;
- LIFTING DEL TERZO MEDIO DEL VOLTO E DELLA FACCIA: Indirizzato sulla fascia degli zigomi, delle guance e del labbro superiore. È una zona delicata perché esistono equilibri estetici di parti piene e vuote che si modificano con l’età come per gli zigomi che si assottigliano insieme alle guance che si abbassano. Il lifting in questo caso è l’unica tecnica duratura per riportare l’equilibrio dermoadiposo;
- LIFTING CERVICALE O DEL COLLO: Focalizzato sulla zona bassa del volto e sul collo, con il quale è possibile contrastare l’eccesso di cute del collo, del grasso nella zona retro-mento, e riesce a donare un aspetto più giovane. In molti casi viene associata anche una liposuzione delle regione sottomentoniera;
- LIFTING DEL VISO TOTALE: è la combinazione di tutti i tipi di lifting precedenti ed è spesso associato alla blefaroplastica ed il lipofilling per ringiovanimento complessivo.
Il lifting facciale si esegue con un’incisione a livello della regione temporale del cranio, nella zona delle tempie vicino all’attaccatura dei capelli, che continua avanti o dietro l’orecchio per poi passare il lobo e terminare tra i capelli.
L’incisione è studiata ed eseguita in base alla zona da trattare, e soprattutto per evitare che le ferite una volta guarite possano formare delle cicatrici visibili.
Dopo l’incisione il chirurgo separa la pelle dei tessuti e delle ossa con una trazione ed esegue la distensione, e dove serve anche il riposizionamento e tonificazione della struttura muscolare, ovvero il lifting muscolo-cutaneo.
La pelle distesa che risulta in eccesso viene rimossa, mentre la restante viene riposizionata sul viso nel modo più naturale possibile, con dei punti di sutura in corrispondenza dell’incisione.
Nel caso di una rimozione degli accumuli del mento e del collo, oltre alla distensione viene effettuata anche la rimozione del grasso delle zone trattate.
Il lifting del viso può essere svolto in anestesia generale con un ricovero di almeno due notti, o locale con sedazione endovenosa in regime day hospital, e la durata dell’intervento varia da 1 a 3 ore. Per alcuni interventi sono previsti una serie di drenaggi per far defluire i liquidi.
Ci sono degli interventi che possono rendere più armonico il risultato del lifting facciale e per questo vengono spesso eseguiti insieme, quali:
- BLEFAROPLASTICA: per correggere la lassità cutanea delle palpebre;
- BOTULINO: utile per trattare le rughe del viso;
- FILLER: serve a riempire le rughe e dare volume a determinate zone del viso;
- PEELING LASER: rimuove lo strato superficiale della pelle e la riepitelizzazione successiva attenua le rughe superficiali.
In molti casi è necessario un secondo intervento di lifting per riposizionare la pelle ceduta e tonificare le fasce muscolari del viso, o per intervenire nelle zone che nel primo intervento non sono state trattate, quindi diventa utile per bilanciare e rendere più naturale l’aspetto della cute.
Il post-operatorio del lifting facciale
Nel complesso l’intervento di lifting durante l’operazione non provoca alcun dolore perché il paziente è sotto anestesia, e nel post-operatorio se dovesse presentarsi verrebbe tenuto sotto controllo dai normali farmaci antidolorifici.
L’unica sensazione persistente è la pesantezza del volto ed il tiraggio della pelle che in pochi giorni si attenua.
L’ipersensibilità della cute ed i gonfiori scompaiono in due o tre settimane, è raccomandato stare a riposo e riprendere le attività lavorative gradualmente, e quelle più pesanti solo dopo quattro settimane.
Le complicanze post-intervento che possono verificarsi sono ematomi, un eccessivo sanguinamento, la formazione di cheloidi e le infezioni. In casi rarissimi può esserci una lesione temporanea o permanente del nervo facciale ma questo accade quando il lifting è eseguito da un chirurgo non esperto ed in cliniche non autorizzate.
